If you're gonna play 1v1, challenger decks are better. We'll have new ones coming out in April, so stay tuned. If you're gonna play 4 player FFA, commander is better in my opinion. However, if you guys are new to mtg, i'd stick with challenger decks. Commander decks are usually more complex and less intuitive for new players.. If you want to play commander, precons are great starting points. I know the Blue/Black zombie one is current and very popular right now with a lot of options to upgrade later.
